Es de suma importancia enseñarles a nuestros hijos el valor, cuidado y respeto hacia los seres vivos en este caso los animales, eso ayudara a la formación de ciudadanos de bien.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un hermoso paseo que realice junto a mis hijos a un lugar que no conocíamos de nuestro bello Estado Nueva Esparta y fue sencillamente maravilloso. En la Isla de Margarita no solo podrán encontrar playas, en ella existen muchos sitios de esparcimiento y recreación para visitar en cualquier época del año.
Entre tantos lugares interesantes está el Parque Waterland Mundo Marino, este es un zoológico – acuario, su principal misión es resguardar la salud de especies animales que han sido rescatados, rehabilitados, para luego de su completa recuperación poder ser reinsertadas en su habita silvestre.
Este lugar es mágico desde que entras hasta que te retiras, la buena vibra que se puede percibir en él, nos recarga de buenas energías. El paseo comienza con exhibición de animalitos que por una u otra razón han llegado ahí para ser protegidos, en su mayoría padeciendo algún maltrato lamentablemente por parte de seres humanos inescrupulosos.

Today I want to share with you a beautiful walk that I took with my children to a place that we did not know in our beautiful Nueva Esparta State and it was simply wonderful. On Margarita Island you will not only be able to find a beach, there are many leisure and recreation sites to visit at any time of the year.
Among many interesting places is the Waterland Mundo Marino Park, this is a zoo-aquarium, its main mission is to protect the health of animal species that have been rescued, rehabilitated, so that after their complete recovery they can be reinserted into their wild habitat.
This place is magical from the moment you enter until you leave, the good vibes that can be perceived in it, recharge us with good energies. The tour begins with an exhibition of animals that for one reason or another have come there to be protected, most of them unfortunately suffering some mistreatment by unscrupulous human beings,.
Y de ahí es donde viene mi reflexión en cuanto a la necesidad que urge en la sociedad de enseñarles a nuestros hijos, el valor y respeto hacia la vida de los demás, los animales son seres indefensos que solo esperan de nosotros amor, es nuestro deber cuidarlos y protegerlos.
Yo entiendo la posición de las personas que no tienen la forma de poder tener en casa animales ya sea por cuestión de espacio, tiempo para dedicarles la atención necesaria o por cuestiones económicas. En mi casa tenemos mucho espacio, pero casi no estábamos en casa por ese motivo nunca pudimos tener mascotas.
Con la llegada de la Pandemia nos regalaron un perrito y decidimos tenerlo en casa y les puedo decir que fue un regalo maravillo de la cuarentena, lamentablemente el murió luego de tener 4 meses en casa, fue muy triste y dolorosa su partida, nos costó mucho superar su muerte, a pesar de que solo estuvo 4 meses nos encariñamos todos con él.
Después de 1 año y de mucho pensarlo decidimos traer otro amigo peludo a la casa, que es nuestra actual mascota, les puedo decir que hasta ahora sigue siendo lo mejor que nos ha dejado la Pandemia Covid-19. El es el amigo de todos, siempre está ahí para quienes lo necesiten, solo con su mirada nos demuestra el amor que siente por todos y es maravilloso.
Poderles enseñar a nuestros hijos el amor, el respeto, la empatía y compresión hacia estos pequeños es tarea de casa, si logramos en nuestros hijos esa misión podremos transformar al planeta en pro de la conservación de la especie animal.

I understand the position of people who do not have the means to be able to have animals at home, either for reasons of space, time to dedicate the necessary attention to them or for economic reasons. In my house we have a lot of space, but we were hardly at home for that reason we could never have pets.
With the arrival of the Pandemic they gave us a puppy and we decided to have him at home and I can tell you that it was a wonderful gift from the quarantine, unfortunately he died after being at home for 4 months, his departure was very sad and painful, it cost us a lot overcoming his death, despite the fact that he was only there for 4 months, we all fell in love with him.
After 1 year and much thought we decided to bring another furry friend to the house, which is our current pet, I can tell you that until now it is still the best thing that the Covid-19 Pandemic has left us. He is everyone's friend, he is always there for those who need him, just with his look he shows us the love he feels for everyone and it is wonderful.
Being able to teach our children love, respect, empathy and understanding towards these little ones is a homework, if we achieve this mission in our children we can transform the planet in favor of the conservation of the animal species.
En este mundo animal apoyado por un equipo super preparado y con vocación, hacen una labor maravillosa, prestan todo el apoyo necesario para resguardar la vida de animalitos que han sido maltratados, en muchos casos ocasionándoles hasta la perdida de algún miembro de su cuerpo como lo es una patica, un ala, perdida de la vista.
Es un lugar de esparcimiento y con una gran misión de educar, me gusta su hermosa tarea de rescatar y preservar la fauna, en el recorrido por todo el lugar podremos encontrar flamencos, aves cantoras, monos, pelicanos, conejos, entre otros.
In this animal world supported by a highly prepared team with a vocation, they do a wonderful job, they provide all the necessary support to protect the lives of little animals that have been mistreated, in many cases even causing them to lose a member of their body as It's a duck, a wing, lost sight.
It is a place of recreation and with a great mission to educate, I like its beautiful task of rescuing and preserving fauna, in the tour of the whole place we can find flamingos, songbirds, monkeys, pelicans, rabbits, among others.
Luego de todo el recorrido por ese hermoso lugar, los promotores nos dirigen hacia un sitio donde algunos entrenadores de animales nos dan una charla para protección, así mismo nos muestran mucho de ellos, como llegaron a ese lugar, que maltrato recibieron o a que dificultad estuvieron expuestos y como ha sido su proceso de rehabilitación, cada uno cuenta con una historia diferente.
En esta actividad especial, nos permiten tener contacto con cada uno de ellos, es ideal para que los niños se puedan familiarizar y a través de su historia puedan sentir empatía y compasión con la situación vivida y así poder crear afectos hacia los animales.
Tienen en resguardo por ejemplo un flamingo que le falta una patica y ha sido rehabilitada, también tienen una guacamaya que le falta parte de su ala por lo que no puede volar.
Tienen varios pelicanos los cuales llegaron con heridas y poco a poco han ido mejorando su estado. También unos morrocoyes los cuales, por exceso de sol y falta de agua, esto le causo una enfermedad y su caparazón se deformó.
Tienen culebras y dan una charla sobre su vida, como no tenerles miedo, no molestarlas si la vemos y en caso de conseguirnos con alguna simplemente dejarlas quieta y llamarlos a ellos para que vengan por ella. Esta parte me dio mucho miedo y prefiero no encontrármelas jajajaja.
Conocer este Planeta animal fue algo sencillamente enriquecedor, los niños salieron de ahí contentos de poder ver como a pesar de el dolor y todo el estrés que le deben haber causado a cada animalito de los que ahí se encuentran, pudieron conseguir personas de buen corazón quienes les están ayudando en su mejoría.

They have several pelicans which arrived with injuries and little by little they have been improving their condition. Also some morrocoyes which, due to excess sun and lack of water, this caused an illness and their shell was deformed.
They have snakes and they give a talk about their lives, how not to be afraid of them, not to bother them if we see them, and if we find one, simply leave them quiet and call them to come get them. This part scared me a lot and I prefer not to meet them hahahaha.
Getting to know this animal planet was something simply enriching, the children left there happy to see how, despite the pain and all the stress that they must have caused each little animal that is there, they were able to find people with good hearts who they are helping them in their improvement.
Luego los promotores nos dirigen hacia al Festival mágico, durante todo el año presentan diferentes actos para entretener a los más pequeños, ese día pudimos presenciar por 1 hora un show de Toy Story los niños encantados con este bonito espectáculo.

Enseguida que termino el show nos dirigimos hacia los estanques donde nos presentaran el espectáculo de Moana y sus delfines. Le puedo decir que esta es una actividad para toda la familia, tanto niños como adultos.
El show y el encuentro con delfines de verdad que son excelente actividades, los delfines bellísimos y en excelente estado, de verdad que son experiencias que vale la pena repetirlas, los niños disfrutaron muchísimo con la actuación. Los delfines, son animales con una capacidad extraordinaria, son hermosos, muy inteligentes y sociables.
Es un espectáculo hecho por varios jóvenes con la participación de los delfines, es increíble ver lo amaestrados y obedientes que son estos mamíferos, cargan a moana y la colocan en tarima, juegan con la pelota y aros, pasean a una lanchita donde va en ella alguien que escogen en el público, es algo muy bonito y muy bien preparado.

El 23 de Julio de este año varo en una playa de nuestra Isla un delfín herido, gracias a las labores de muchos entes y fundaciones fue rescatado y llevado hasta las instalaciones de Waterland donde le prestaron todo el apoyo necesario para así lograr salvar su vida, pero lamentablemente el día 1 de agosto falleció debido a su frágil condición.
Quiero decir que yo que pude vivir la experiencia de presenciar un show de delfines les puedo decir que son animalitos únicos y maravillosos. Waterland dispone de diferentes actividades en contactos con estos maravillosos mamíferos.
Cuentan con Delfino terapia y nado con delfines, conozco personas que han vivido esta experiencia y cuentan que es maravilloso. Con esta terapia mejora la calidad de vida tanto de niños como adultos que padecen complicados problemas de salud, enfermedades crónicas y de orden psicológico. El tener contacto con delfines mejora las condiciones de las personas con problemas motores, auditivos y del lenguaje, así como reduce el dolor y provoca que el sistema inmunológico se fortalezca.
On July 23 of this year, an injured dolphin washed up on a beach on our island. Thanks to the efforts of many entities and foundations, it was rescued and taken to the Waterland facilities, where they provided all the necessary support to save its life. but unfortunately on August 1 he passed away due to his fragile condition.
I want to say that I who was able to live the experience of witnessing a dolphin show can tell you that they are unique and wonderful little animals. Waterladn has different activities in contact with these wonderful mammals.
They have Delfino therapy and swim with dolphins, I know people who have lived this experience and say it is wonderful. With this therapy, the quality of life of both children and adults who suffer from complicated health problems, chronic diseases and psychological disorders improves. Having contact with dolphins improves the conditions of people with motor, hearing and language problems, as well as reduces pain and causes the immune system to be strengthened.
Debo recomendar ampliamente este lugar para todos lo que tengan oportunidad de venir a la Isla y los residentes cuando puedan visítenlo, la entrada cuesta 5$ y con ella puedes disfrutar de aproximadamente de 3 horas de diferentes actividades educativas y recreativas, cuentan con un equipo maravilloso, gentiles, cariñosos, amables, son persona con una calidad humana única, demuestran el amor que le dedican a la labor que hacen día a día.
Waterland es una institución privada, pero por albergar animales está bajo la supervisión de la Fundación de Parques, Zoológicos y Acuarios de Venezuela.
El abuso y la crueldad hacia los animales es algo que sin duda alguna debe ser penado, no hay derecho a casuar dolor a un ser vivo por eso la importancia de educar a nuestros niños respeto al maltrato hacia los animales y que este desde el punto de vista psicológico se compare con atentar en contra de las personas.
