We are watching theatre, ballet and musical productions on YouTube such as ‘Peter and the Wolf’ by the National Theatre. We have visited art galleries and museums online including the Picasso exhibition at the Royal Academy. The children are learning French and we watch French films like the wonderful Ernest & Celestine. The legendary Hacienda club was live yesterday and took me back to the ‘90’s 💭
Still, the most restorative part of the day is our daily walk amongst nature. The blossom is beautiful and it has been uncharacteristically hot and dry for April in England.
My children did an Easter egg hunt today and gorged on chocolate. I had to explain that Easter Sunday celebrated the resurrection of Jesus by Christians as we do not practice a religion at home.
This evening I watched Andrea Bocelli sing in front of the Duomo in Milan live on YouTube. Very inspirational 🙏🏽
