Woke up yesterday morning to a crust over all the snow from the bit of rain that fell as the back of the storm came through. It made me very happy that I had shoveled while it was all still light and airy and way easier to move.
The back side of the house always gives us the best snow curls. Every year we get some really long curls coming off the roof and depending on the temps they will hang for 2 feet. I am always amazed that the stuff stays on the roof and doesn't just all pop off from the weight.
I bit the bullet and put in my order for a grow tent, fan, filter, and tubing. Since I am removing the freezer from the basement I am opening up the perfect space to put up the tent. It worked out well that I have the exhaust fan for our bathroom window delivering today which is made by Ac Infinity. When I went to look at their website I saw they have a whole line of growing equipment and after reading reviews found I had stumbled upon a pretty solid company. I have a 3'x3'x72" tent, 4" fan, and filter that will be here after Christmas sometime. This year's farm sales are paying for the new grow op since I will be using it to start all my seeds this spring and as soon as I get it setup I will be starting peppers in hopes of having big plants to put in the ground in May. Once I can get some new auto genetics I will get a few of them going as well.
At one point in the day the internet wonked out for about an hour until it came back. Centurylink is really really bad about having an outage map available and force you to go through their troubleshooter. I have no idea why all service providers seem to be such crap. If only we had the fiber on this side of the highway maybe we would have the chance to hook up to it.
It's snowing again this morning and looks to for a good part of the day. It's Christmas break for the boys so they are home for the next 2 weeks. Today I need to get the freezer at least cleared for removal, if not out, shovel more snow that keeps falling, and get more than my minimum 500 words written. The bathroom fan will be here at some point today and I will want to get it installed asap.
