The storms are here! My day was a sore one and trying to prep for rain. I got more grain first thing. It got spread out on the pole bean garden to kill the weeds and add nutrients.
Went to a yard sale a mile away and came home with an antique compound bow and arrows, mini compound bow,and a 3x3 target. My oldest can juuuuust about draw the mini. He will be strong enough by next spring.
I spent far too long and exploded 2 arrows trying to shoot a line into my massive tree I have to limb. Taped weights to the tips in hopes of the arrows being able to drag the line down but to no avail. I managed to get the line over branches but not down far enough.
Good practice shooting which I have not had in 20+ years.
Picked 60+ pounds of green tomatoes in prep for the coming frosts.
It rained off and on during the day and then the storm hit overnight. I woke up this morning to .36" of rain in the gauge.
Today I am taking a muscle relaxer for my shoulder which has been in crisis for a week. It has affected my sleep, my days, and my head, despite foam rolling, stretching, and pressure point work. We will see how much work I get done.
