Hello great mind, We all have received advice at one point in time that has changed our lives and mentality, it is only those that love you that can give you advice that will help you and be a guard for your future, I remember while I was coming up my dad use to tell something that sounds like a slogans to me today.
Some years back I remember I use to follow a neighbour of mine to do all manner of evil, when they are looking for bad boys I am part of them, them we were living in the soldiers Barack, one day we entered into a soldier room and pick some money with my friend, I about 16 years old, later on we were cut and after the have beaten us I went home.

My dad called me and sat me down, he said to me when your ear listen to my word your body will be free but when you refused to listen your body will be in trouble, just this few words, it has been a gaurd for my life and today anytime I am to do anything, when I remember those words I put myself together.
Today I am in mit thirties but I have not forgot those words because they were spoken with love, those words means a lot to me not because it was my dad that said it but because I got some light from those words, he gave me his fatherly cancel he may thinking that he is scaring me from the rod but I am looking at the future.
What I learned from his words.
If you listen to my words your body will be free, that means you will not have wond on your body because of his discipline.
It means, in your future you won't suffer because you were able to to listen to advise
It means, each time we refused to listen to advise we suffer it, our body also take part in the suffering, when you hear your body his free, and today I used those same words when talking to my niece that is staying with us, those words are powerful to me and the make more meaning to me than then.
Conclusion
Sometimes when advice is being given to you, you may look down on who is talking, but one of the thing that you must do is to sit down and think over what is being said to you, those words may sound foolish to you but when you sit over those words it's bring you lasting results, never neglect any advice because it may be useful in the future, life is a seed whatever you sow that you shall repe, today my dad is no more but his words is still fresh in my heart, advice is a strong weapon for children, those advice I received from my dad are still relevant to me today.
