Hello friends, I hope you are very well, I am a little well but not 100% I went to the doctor yesterday for some strange symptoms and apparently they are sequels of CODVID-19, it is nothing serious, but very annoying , muscle and joint pain. However, I have not been able to have a calm mind, and even though it bothers me a bit to manipulate the tools, today I wanted to make a keychain with the Hive logo very easy to do, I hope you like the design.
Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, yo estoy un poco bien pero no al 100% fui al médico el día de ayer por unos extraños síntomas y al parecer son secuelas del CODVID-19, no es nada grave, pero si muy molesto, dolores musculares y en las articulaciones. Sin embargo no he podido tener la mente tranquila, y a pesar de que me molesta un poco manipular las herramientas hoy quise hacer un llavero con el logo de Hive muy facil de hacer, espero que les guste el diseño.
PROCESS
The best thing about this design is that I was able to reuse remnants of the materials used in other works. To make this keychain we choose the top of a soda can, cut it and separate only the place where the soda opens. Then with that same part we use it to take out two pieces of cardboard, using the same diameter. These pieces of cardboard will go inside and will serve to join both sides of the keychain.
Lo mejor de este diseño es que pude reutilizar restos de los materiales usados en otros trabajos. Para hacer este llavero escogemos la parte superior de una lata de soda, la cortamos y separamos solamente el lugar por donde se abre la soda. Luego con esa misma parte la utilizamos para sacar dos píezas de cartón, utilizando el mismo diámetro. Estas piezas de cartón irán por dentro y servirá para unir ambas caras del llavero.
The next step is to take two black cans and one red can, cut them and take out two sheets. On top of them we can a circular piece extracted from the same can to use it as a diameter and cut two pieces, these pieces will serve us for the background of the Hive logo. Then on a sheet of paper we will draw the Hive achievement and we will use it as a template to also get it out of the cans, we will get a red logo and a white one, for this we will also use a white can. Then we put each of the pieces in the order in which we will join them to make the keychain.
El siguiente paso es tomar dos latas de color negro y una de color rojo, las cortamos y sacamos dos láminas. Encima de ellas podremos una pieza circular extraída de la misma lata para usarla como diámetro y cortar dos piezas, estas piezas nos van a servir para el fondo del logo de Hive. Luego en una hoja de papel dibujaremos el logro de Hive y lo utilizaremos como plantilla para sacarlo también de las latas, sacaremos un logo de color rojo y uno de color blanco, para esto utilizaremos tambien una lata de color blanco. Luego ponemos cada una de las piezas en el orden en el cual las uniremos para hacer el llavero.
To assemble the keychain, the first step is to join the two covers on the sides where we glue the cardboard circles, let the glue dry very well and then press hard for a few minutes until it is well fixed. Then we will place each piece of the logo on the background we made, the red ones will go on the black background and the white ones will go on the red background. Using the paper template that we drew earlier we can measure exactly where each piece will go inside the background, this way it will not be crooked.
Para ensamblar el llavero el primer paso es unir las dos tapas por las caras donde pegamos los círculos de cartón, dejamos secar muy bien el pegamento y luego presionamos fuertemente por unos pocos minutos hasta que quede bien fijado. Luego colocaremos cada pieza del logo en el fondo que hicimos, las de color rojo irán en el fondo negro y las de color blanco irán en el fondo rojo. Utilizando la plantilla de papel que dibujamos anteriormente podemos medir exactamente el lugar que irá cada pieza dentro del fondo, de esta manera no quedará torcido.
To finish, we will open a hole that will serve to place a chain and thus link the keys to our houses. We look for a chain that we are not using, or from an old key chain and we introduce it, with tweezers we tighten it very well so that it is well fixed and thus we will have finished.
Para finalizar, abriremos un agujero que sirva para poder colocar una cadena y así enlazar las llaves de nuestras casas. Buscamos una cadena que no estemos utilizando, o de algún viejo llavero y la introducimos, con unas pinzas las apretamos muy bien para que quede bien fijada y así habremos finalizado.

This is how our keychain with the Hive logo turned out, I like how it turned out because I have always liked this combination of colors, red, white and black, they have a strong impact on the mind of the observer. When I learned to make keychains it was so long ago that I sold them and used them to eat at the university, I remember that classmates hung on me from their favorite rock bands or from some movies or brands. I have also made keychains of the shield of Captain America and Deadpool. Así es como ha quedado nuestro llavero con motivo del logo de Hive, me gusta como quedói porque esta combinación de colores siempre me ha gustado, el rojo, el blanco y el negro, tienen un impacto fuerte en la mente del observador. Cuando aprendí a hacer llaveros fue hace tanto tiempo que los vendía y me servía para poder comer en la universidad, recuerdo que los compañeros de clases me pendían de sus bandas de rock preferidas o de algunas películas o marcas. También he realizado llaveros del escudo del capitan América y Deadpool.
