¡Hola comunidad!
Hoy hice este llavero con forma de Búho para practicar el moldeado de figuras, me hizo gracia, se ve cómico. Ya casi no me queda foami moldeable, tendré que ir a la tienda por más.
Este llavero tiene una hendidura en la pancita del búho, también lo hice inspirado en los worry stones, ya te he mostrado en anteriores publicaciones cómo hacer el colgante del llavero por lo cual hoy nos saltamos ese paso.
Estuve pensando, cómo me gustaría haber podido grabar el proceso, será cuando el servicio eléctrico me lo permita.
Cuando seque completamente la pieza, pienso hacerle unas pestañitas y por supuesto colocarle la resina.

Hello, everyone!
Today I made this owl-shaped key ring to practise shaping figures; I thought it was quite funny – it looks a bit comical. I’ve almost run out of mouldable foam, so I’ll have to pop to the shop for some more.
This keyring has a little indentation on the owl’s tummy; I was also inspired by worry stones. I’ve already shown you in previous posts how to make the keyring pendant, so we’ll skip that step today.
I was thinking how I’d have loved to have filmed the process – I’ll do that when the electricity supply allows me to.
Once the piece has dried completely, I plan to add some little eyelashes and, of course, apply the resin.

Moldeo una bolita de foami color amarillo, luego moldeo la forma de las orejas, con el pulgar hago una hendidura en la pancita.
Tomo una porción de foami color blanco y moldeo una pelotita, luego la aplano con la tapa, aplico un poco de pegamento y la coloco en la hendidura del cuerpo del búho.
Moldeo dos pelotitas de foami color blanco y aplano un poco con la tapa, aplico pegamento en la sección donde van los ojos y pego las piezas allí.

I shape a small ball of yellow foam, then shape the ears; using my thumb, I make a dip in the tummy.
I take a piece of white foam and shape it into a small ball, then flatten it with the lid, apply a little glue and place it in the dip in the owl’s body.
I shape two small white foam balls and flatten them slightly with the lid; I apply glue to the area where the eyes go and stick the pieces there.

Moldeo dos pelotitas de foami color negro y aplano con la tapa, aplico pegamento y la coloco en los ojos, estas forman las pupilas.
Moldeo un triángulo con foami moldeable color naranja y lo pego en medio de los ojos.
Con la herramienta de punta hago una hendidura en cada lugar de las orejas.
Con la herramienta de punta pinto los dos brillos en los ojos con pintura acrílica blanca.
Moldeo dos figuras semi curva, estas conformarán las alas.
Aplico pegamento de cada lado y pego cada ala en su lugar.

I shape two small black foam balls and flatten them with the lid, apply glue and stick them onto the eyes; these form the pupils.
I shape a triangle out of orange mouldable foam and stick it in the middle of the eyes.
Using the pointed tool, I made a small indentation in each spot where the ears would go.
Using the pointed tool, I painted the two highlights on the eyes with white acrylic paint.
I shaped two semi-curved shapes; these will form the wings.
I applied glue to each side and stuck each wing in place.

Moldeo un cilindro de foami y lo pego en la parte inferior, en medio de las alas, estas formarán las patas.
Con la herramienta de moldear marco la forma de las patitas.
Moldeo dos pequeñas bolitas de foami rosado y aplano, luego las pego en cada lado para formar las mejillas.
Aplico pegamento en el gancho que sostendrá el llavero y lo introduzco en el centro de ambas orejas.
Coloco el colgante del llavero en el aro que he realizado, es importante dejar secar la pieza completamente antes.

I shape a cylinder out of foam and stick it to the bottom, in the middle of the wings; these will form the legs.
Using the shaping tool, I outline the shape of the little legs.
I shape two small balls of pink foam and flatten them, then stick them on either side to form the cheeks.
I apply glue to the hook that will hold the key ring and insert it into the centre of both ears.
I attach the key ring charm to the loop I’ve made; it’s important to let the piece dry completely first.
