Curie Logo Design Contest

Here is my entry to the @curie logo contest, I want to tell you about this design and how it came out this way in a shortchanged explanation.

I wanted to unify the upvote button that was already a part of the logo and mix it with a "helping hand" that what @curie represents to me, the helping hand to minnows to help them promote and spread their content. We al wanted to be voted by @curie and we all know how it was gonna help us, not only because the money, but because you are gonna be able to reach much more audience to your content, that's why I see them as a helping hand.


The color palette was easy to pick, I wanted to relate it to steemit somehow, I thought about using one of the talk boxes on the steemit logo, but it could be seen as a non properly use of the Steemit logo, or maybe even a fraud, so I think the best way was to use the same colors in order to make our brain relate it instantly.

I also made some variations so you could see how it will look when applied to other backgrounds or in a black and white printed paper. Maybe today there's no need to have those but no one know what could happen in a couple of months, so its better to have all sewed up since day one.
