I am guilty of loving this show when I in jr high school. It's was one of my primary fascinations, I was really into this franchise. I had a lot of cards.
When this show intro came on, a fight would start in my house if you spoke while the show was starting. I know a lot of people actually sung this song in their house.
This was my first game and after beating this game 10 times, I played red and blue (The graphics on these two were so bad, they didn't look nothing like the pokemon in the show or on the card).
These two were the biggest loser in the show, and still is. I mean your whole life revolves around snatching up.
A Pikachu, a whole pokemon world and you stuck on one pikachu. Why didn't they just find another pikachu. I mean after losing throughout the whole season I would've just shot ash and took the pikachu. How is it that they are not fired yet, maybe they are but they never got the news.
I was just fine knowing 150 pokemons, it was fine they didn't need to make more
Many generations later and now there are like 1,000 new pokemon that "were always there".
Even Johto pokemon where just fine because it was in the original. Now I'm so tired of pokemon, I think they are getting carried away with pokemon.
Especially with this game, getting people killed and kidnapped. Even adults are partaking in this, nothing screams virgin louder than trying to catch a pixel monster on a busy intersection.
Once I heard this theory it all made sense to me, especially when he rarely loses.
