This is the Hawaii state fish. It is known as the rectangular or Hawaiian triggerfish or in Hawaiian, humuhumunukunukuapua'a. It is one of many species of triggerfish. Caught it with light leader and squid bait. It often gives a good fight trying to dive into rocks in the reef. It also can cut the line with its sharp teeth. I lost many a hook and bait from them cutting my line. Of course I threw him back.
