Not a good morning? A bad night? Pearli wasn't saying while she basked in the morning sun.
Some of yesterday's work product. The often mentioned, not often (anymore) photographed sourdough rolls (buns).
Chilli jam - yes, another batch and there will be more for two, no three reasons: chillies are in season, I have an order for seven and I have an additional, Sunday market next week. More of that in due course. Also, thank you to Silver Cat for the olive oil tip. It did beat the heat!
A batch of free range chicken liver pâté which is selling like hot cakes.
And the usual buns. The loaves are baking as I write at two minutes to seven.
The day ended with an easy peasy Friday supper: chicken pot pie and salad. Perfect after a long kitchen day and an even longer week which is not quite over yet.
