Last night was pasta night.
Huh? Why is the post title "Burger..."?
Because I messed up. Not the pasta, but my series of photos for another installment of the tomato diaries. That particular episode will be reprised and I will take photos. Blame it on Who wants to be a Millionaire - the final and rather interesting episode in the current series on SA television. I was much distracted and even though I plated and pampered the pasta, I forgot to record it for posterity on the blockchain.
Oh well...
Tuesday night was burger night with a difference. Not only were they bunless and set a bed of rocket on roasted butternut rings, but they were chicken.
The Husband, a dedicated believer that burgers should only be red meat, approached with caution. He declared them delicious. I second that.
My market pal and collaborator, SY, makes them for Red Earth Farm, from which we get their free range chickens.
Would we have them again? Hell, yes!
Until next time, be well
