Yesterday was grey, cold (by comparison) and wet. This was the view from my weekend office (aka the couch).
The cold makes us both grumpy. The Husband more than I.
So he went out in the damp to chop kindling and collect wood.
It was also a day that called for comfort food. A childhood and family favourite: fish and parsley sauce. With thyme roasted-roasted carrots and, of course, minted peas.
Finally, there was a turf battle:
Over my lap. Princess Pearli won.
