Ya perd铆 la cuenta de cu谩ntos d铆as dedicados a los gatos hay al a帽o. Pero que haya m谩s de un d铆a dedicados a ellos al a帽o refleja lo importante que se han convertido los gatos para nosotros los seres humanos.
Tanto, que hemos edificado en torno a ellos cientos de relatos que van desde la superstici贸n hasta teor铆as muy locas. C贸mo dato curioso en torno a lo supersticioso, hace siglos, los piratas sub铆an gatos a los navios porque de cre铆a que cuando estordudaban avisaban que muy posiblemente se aproximaba una tormenta; adem谩s de lo m谩s obvio que era usar a los gatos como control de plagas y poder cuidar de las provisiones en altamar.
Personalmente, amo a los gatos. Debo confesar que me declaro ailur贸filo. Me parecen perfectos. Actualmente tengo dos gatas conmigo.
Por otro lado, est谩s fotos de gatos que comparto hoy son unos gatitos con los que me he tomado en la calle. Los dos primeros me los encontr茅 el el museo Nueva C谩diz en La Asunci贸n, en Isla de Margarita. Me top茅 con los otros dos en las calles de un vecindario cerca de donde vivo

I鈥檝e lost count of how many days a year are dedicated to cats. But the fact that there鈥檚 more than one day a year dedicated to them shows just how important cats have become to us humans.
So much so that we鈥檝e built hundreds of stories around them, ranging from superstitions to some pretty wild theories. As a fun fact about superstition, centuries ago, pirates would bring cats aboard their ships because it was believed that when they meowed, they were warning that a storm was likely approaching鈥攊n addition to the more obvious reasons of using cats for pest control and to help protect provisions on the high seas.
Personally, I love cats. I must confess that I鈥檓 a self-proclaimed cat lover. I think they鈥檙e perfect. I currently have two female cats with me.
On the other hand, the cat photos I鈥檓 sharing today are of some kittens I鈥檝e encountered on the street. I came across the first two at the Nueva C谩diz Museum in La Asunci贸n, on Margarita Island. I came across the other two on the streets of a neighborhood near where I live.
