Losing my Mind
I'm folding my arms in.
I'm holding my heart in.
I'm rolling my sleeves up.
I think I'll give up.
A tree on the breeze, I am
firmly footed, hereby rooted
A free soul of time, I am
I give no heed to what bleeds
I've witnessed the death of friends
I've seen love die like a trend
wind blows before me dust of hope
They taste ground in the end
A tree, relic of life, I am
Million myths course in my veins
million memories, million sentiments
I endure all, never act, never vent
Black cloud creeps, soil seeps
I quench my thirst, hunger sleeps
A distant flicker of figure, dear keeps
my will; Dusk kills, that too I grieve.
Rugged barks, dying light
The branch with the swing has cracked
fainter screams; a painter dreams
the color of my life in black
Go wanderer
dear do not
fear wanderer
Go wanderer
lone, live like a
stone. wanderer
Go wanderer
free. Let the dead
be. wanderer.
Go wanderer go
world can never
know. wanderer.
Go wanderer walk
into heart cold
find a corner damp
clean out the mold
make a home and fire
see if walls hold
bake and fill with smells
homely and old.
Wander if you can
away from home
Wonder I sometimes
who wrote this poem?
A weary wanderer you
kicked out of home?
A wicked wayward I
wishful when I roam?
I suffocate
can't control these thoughts
I cannot will my heart
I sever all that hold in place
this disease ridden disgrace
A foe fierce, I figured friend
keeping me living to see the end
I bit the poison apple to know
the snake slurs when it is low
the distant crow cries for a kill,
neither good nor evil
observe the myriad strings
see! to me what slaves brings
Time to breathe in
silken light shines
Hello! is this the phony divine?
where were you then
when I was intertwined
among theirs and mine?
I wish not eternal holy throne.
I should add three more lines
something to do with wine
dine fine, nein nein nien
okay something about brine-
soaked heart and losing mind
This is the curse curious find
their gods are diseased and blind
drunk and dying, aching, crying
bored and bummed, duly vying
for things to get better.
