This is such a stereotypical image of Paris. Sitting along the banks of the Seine.. enjoying the outdoor air. Reading a paper, perhaps having a drink. I envy the fact that you can do that in the middle of Paris. Of course the bitter reality is that although there are a lot of nice spots along the river, there are also plenty of places (especially during the hot summer) that have the over powering stench of urine. But not just any urine, the strong fermenting, nostril burning fragrance of sun-dried urine soon-to-be-ammonia. How did this turn into a post about urine? Its been a long week.
