Long exposure bridges in Scotland

Carrying on from yesterday when I shot that bridge, I also took the time to turn 45 degrees to my right (it really wasn't much effort) to get this particular view thrown in my face. This is the forth road bridge with the forth rail bridge in the background. The Rail bridge being the most famous and oldest of the three bridges.

Shooting conditions here can be a little tricky as a lot of the lights around the bridges tend to be very bright causing too great a contrast between the dark and light areas. This can easily result in blown highlights or underexposed areas that are a pain in the butt, yet you can fix it in post.

For this shot I was lucky though and very little adjustment was needed in post production.
