My name is Simonas. But some of you may know me as fieryfootprints, Fiery(in gaming community) or even caveman to some. I am from Lithuania. I am trying to be an artist. I started making visual art in 2017. Before that I studied law but I never worked anything related to law. During my studying years I tried to write books but I never finished them.
This was my first piece. I created it in 2017. After that I tried a lot different art forms. Traditional art(mostly pyrography(burning on wood) with acrylic paints and/or colored pencils.) Some of my pieces are also made on canvas. More recently I tried making digital art as well. My digital art jorney also included trying to make a few manga. One for a global manga/ comics contest and other based on one of my books. But I only managed to make two chapters of the manga that was based on my book. Recently I went back to my art roots- pyrography. In few of my latest pieces I combined pyrography with watercolors.

This is my current piece. Still faaaaaaaaar from being completed but it is already quite special for me.
I am also a gamer. My favorite are the Witcher trilogy, Dragon age origins, Mass Effect 2 , Disco Elysium, Mafia 1 and 2 and Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Now I am playing Baldur's gate 3(last played probably months ago so I still need to finish it) and zero parades for dead spies. Both of those games so far are really awesome as well. In the future I will play The Blood of Dawnwalker. And then we will have another Witcher era-Witcher 4, Witcher 1 remake and new Witcher 3 expansion.
It still feels a bit weird to say this but I suppose I am also a small investor. and a bit of a holder hoarder. I invest in two areas- my art and Hive. I have no idea how much I invested in my creations. Way more than I earned.
According to my KE I bought about 20k HP over the years? That is probably not entirely correct. Because I did win a few thousand Hive by gambling. But I also lost insane amounts of Hive(and EUR). So I likely would have even more HP if I had powered up all of it. I did invest a lot by my standards at least into Hive. And I keep investing when I have spare money. In fact I should be able to buy maybe a few thousands Hive tomorrow. I am buying HP but so far I have not cashed anything out, I also invest a lot of time into both my art and Hive. I started both making art and blogging in 2017. I took some breaks from both Hive and art but all in all I am creating art and blogging for nearly a decade now.
I found Hive thanks to some youtuber who I was following years ago. At first I came here just hoping to earn something from home. But I stayed here during good and bad times. I had multiple reasons for this. I liked some people here. And some of them liked what I do- either my gaming posts or my art posts. Also I feel that I have invested too much into Hive to just cash out leave. For better or for worse this is the bigesst opportunity in my life. So I intend to either reach the bottom of the sea or the stars with Hive ship.
I still believe that Hive pros are way greater than Hive cons. Here I get to earn from home. For doing what I love. I also get paid for reading and liking interesting posts of other people. And I still believe that sky is not even the limit to Hive's potential. I think that you just can't beat such opportunities. The negatives? That it is hard to get new people to join. And that some people come here just to take but not to give anything back. Can you imagine how high hive price would be if most users would be buying and powering up Hive at least from time to time instead of taking everything out and cashing out? The biggest con is that a lot of people left Hive and now it sometimes feels like a ghosts town. But I am crazy naive optimist. So I believe that both Hive price and user base will recover and even reach new heights.
I have invited a few people to Hive. But none of them are here now. My classmate stayed here for +- a month. He made no post or comments(despite me insisting that he should) and was only curating posts of other users(I had delegated him a bit of HP for the start). He left because rewards were not worth his time- no shit, after all he has not posted anything. Another artist believes that everything with crypto is a scam. And a third person also thought that Hive rewards are too small and not worth her time...Perhaps I failed at inviting those people to join. Or perhaps they were not going to join/ stay regardless of what I said...
