This topic is hard. I always wanted to visit Egypt but after thinking about this I came up another option. Italy. Egypt is kinda obvious- I want to see the pyramids. It still amazes me that people with primitive tools were able to built something like that. But I think that Italy would be just as or more interesting. I think that in the end I would pick Italy. Few reasons for my choice are:
I think that weather in Italy would be less hot than in Egypt.
For some reason I believe that Italy is a safer place.
Music. I don't understand italian but those songs sounds nice.
Food. I want to try real italian pizza.
Venice- A city on water sounds really fascinating to me.
I think that Italy represents some of the best and worst things of humanity. On one hand we have beautiful art and architecture. On the other hand this country had slavery and fights of gladiators. You might say that other countries have some horrific parts of their history as well. And that is true. But I love a good underdog story. And I think that Spartacus is just that. A story about the people raising from the very bottom, uniting together and even making the mighty Rome tremble. Quite an inspiring story.
This is why I would like to see Italy.
