Last time we stopped Gaunter o'Dimm( Evil Incarnate) from taking a nobleman's Olgierd's soul. we challanged Gaunter o'Dimm to a game and offered him our our soul should we lose. He agreed and teleported us to another dimension, where we had to solve a riddle. We were successful and beat Gaunter o'Dimm in his own game. We could not kill or harm him but we did banish him from our world...for now at least. After that we parted with Olgierd as good friends and he gave his most valuable possession- a powerful sword named after his dead wife Iris.
In this part we met with two knights from Toussaint in some small village. They wanted to protect village from a group of bandits who were about to attack. We barely had time to great the knights and then bandits arrived. One of the knights tried to convince those scum to give up. The bandits laughed at his face and insulted us. So a peaceful resolution was impossible. We slaughtered all the bandits and protected the village. But the peasants seemed to be ungrateful and fearful of us. Knights were disappointed by this.
After that we came back to the hut and talked serious business with the knights. They told us that their ruler duchess Anna Henrietta invites us to come to Toussaint and needs our help. Some weird monster appeared there and started killing the duchess's subjects. This Beast was a true enigma. No one could track him and his motivation for killing people was unclear as well. Also it seemed that this Beast can wield magic. He managed to get into one of the victim's well guarded home and kill him without anyone stopping him. Also the duchess was organizing a tournament and did not want her guests to know about this Beast and his killings. So she decided to hire us, a professional monster slayer, by offering us a very generous prize for tracking and stopping the Beast. We agreed to meet with the duchess and solve her problems.
After a while we and the knights arrived to Toussaint. And it was a whole new world region. Very colorful and fairy tale like. For me Toussaint is by far the best looking region of this game. But this place also had both hidden and not so hidden dangers. We barely arrived to Toussaint and we saw another knight fighting a giant. We rushed to help him and together we managed to slay the giant. After that this new knight told us that the Beast attacked again and has claimed another victim.
