Fiery plays Baldur's Gate 3 part 9: Secrets everywhere.

Last time we learned that we can get to headquarters of followers of goddess Absolute by either traveling by mountain pass or finding our way underground. We also met a dragon knight and slew his minions. Later while resting we saw a weird and creepy creature who claimed to be our butler.

This time we found a cool sword that was stuck in stone. Our main character really needed a weapon upgrade by now so this find was most welcome.

At camp we learned that our companion Wyll who hunts demons and devils...has made a pact with with a devil named Mizora. I don't see any double standard here at all. After that Lae'zel admitted that she admires our leadership and authority.

Then Gale told us the story about his past. Some time ago he had a goddess Mystra(creator of magic) as his lover. To impress her more he tried to find and investigate some book full of her magic. But once he opened the book it was absorbed into Gale and became part of him...and it needs to consume magical artefact on a regular basis. Otherwise Gale would not only die but also erupt and blow an area as big as city with him. Our companions saw Gale as too dangerous and voted to drive him away. But we had a decisive voice and said that Gale will stay. A walking human explosion doesn't seem as that weird considering that our other active companions are Astarion (vampire slave) and Lae'zel( a woman of the race that rides dragons). Also Gale has too many useful and powerful spells. So leaving him is out of question. Griffith will not rid of the pawn that can still be of use.

After that we met with a plant like creature called Sovereign spaw. It asked us to slay some evil scum who tried to kill plant people. We went and did this task.

After that we went to our camp and spoke with Wyll about his pact with the devil Mizora. Wyll can't use force against Mizora. So it seems that their pact can only end if she wills that. I would like to know more about this pact and how such morally good character and paragon of virtue like Wyll ended up making a deal with devil in the first place. After all Wyll was the one who claimed that we should make a deal with another devil(Raphael). Such deals can only end badly he said. The price is gonna be higher than the value of the offer he said. Well apparently that doesn't apply to Wyll himself. It is only bad if others make deals with devils but for him to do that is fine...
