DragonKeepers is reaching the point where the world is starting to remember what you do.

A huge amount of work has gone into the systems underneath the adventure — combat, exploration, persistent characters, evolving world state, PvP, encounters, progression and the infrastructure that allows your actions to survive beyond a single session.

The important part for players is simple:

DragonKeepers is becoming a world you have to learn, not a game that explains itself to you.

You won’t always be told where to go.
You won’t always know whether a fight is a good idea.
You may find clues long before you understand what they mean.
Some encounters are worth pursuing. Others are worth running from.

The Ancient Forest is already alive with its own dangers, world events and consequences. PvP systems have expanded considerably, character progression continues to deepen, and the foundations are now in place for the world itself to persist and evolve as players affect it.

Behind the scenes, one of the largest infrastructure milestones of the project has also just been completed and deployed, giving DragonKeepers a much stronger foundation for long-term persistent player and world data.

There is still plenty being built, balanced and discovered.

But if you’ve been waiting for a good time to step into DragonKeepers…

this is a very good time to log in, leave the safe road, and see what finds you.

DragonKeepers will not hold your hand.

Pay attention. Remember what you learn. And choose your fights carefully.
