The bandanna adaptation I started last week is now finished. I hemmed the top front edge, then used narrow double-fold tape for the top sides and back and the earloops. The white bandanna was made by me; the navy blue was purchased by my sister.

I am working on a set of illustrated instructions and a cutting template to offer in pdf form. Will let you know when that is ready.

I am waiting to pick up an order from the fabric store which will include black foldover elastic (like that used on lingerie) for some darker bandannas I have cut out. My ready-made model was made with such elastic, so it should work well.

Editorial note: I offer these instructions NOT as an endorsement of worldwide panic and tyrannical government. I offer it only as a means of avoiding being put in a cage if government officials threaten arrest.

I still believe the mask orders are not useful. And even if they were, God did not create us to live for long periods of time without faces. Governors will answer for the terrible psychiatric toll this faceless word is taking on children, especially. Children are being treated like disease vectors (without real evidence) instead of developing young minds in need of social interaction and face-to-face communication. Woe to those who are driving young people and old to despair and suicide. I wear a mask only when it is a tool to enable me to stay out of prison and fight for unalienable human rights.
