Perhaps some of us have or have often heard the word istiqomah in an activity, usually on activities that contain elements of religion and a job.
Suppose that about a new convert, that person will usually be called Muallaf. This convert is just beginning to learn to read the Qur'an and study prayers, in the end friends of Islam who will say to the convert, "Hopefully can istiqomah in learning religion." Then other friends also heard the news and finally in the social media rame about the word istiqomah addressed to the convert. Then a question arises, what is the meaning of istiqomah?
In Islamic view, istiqomah has the meaning of upright, straight or in slang is consistent.
