We rented a large bus,the distance from the small town of Sukabumi to Pangalengan is approximately 125 kilometers, with a travel time of approximately 4 hours. The large bus we rented had 56 seats and our group consisted of 30 people.
Pangalengan is located in Southern Bandung, a mountainous area with cool air and surrounded by tea plantations. Around 10 a.m, the group arrived in Pangalengan. We departed from the small town of Sukabumi at 5 a.m.
There were two tourist attractions we were heading to lake Cileunca area and the group got off. Then the group entered the rest room, some joined the off-roading tour,while others waited at the rest room.
Those who want to join the off roading Will be given information by the manager about the length of the trip. The number of people in the Jeep and how much it Will cost perperson.
I myself did not participate in the off-road Jeep tour,but rather enjoyed the lake views. I tried to walk down because the lake is below the rest area. It has not rained for a long time, in the lake receding. Lake Cileunca functions as a hydro electric power plant,for irrigation and for recreation.
Several rubber boats can be seen rafting from the lake to the river,along their route. The boat also serve as water attractions,taking visitors across or around the lake. And after taking pictures of Cileunca lake, I went back up to the rest room to wait for my friends to finish off-roading.
They said the off-road Jeep tour took about two hours. The route went up and down hills in the mountainous area,of course the natural scenery was beautiful. After the event finished in the Cileunca lake area. The group headed to the second object,namely Wayang Windu,in the late afternoon.
