Happy New Year, my fellow Steemians. Does anyone know why is SBD prices plummeting that hard today?

Is too much to ask for the developers to stop artificially protecting Steem prices by sacrificing SBD stability?

I'd rather have STEEM worthing 6 cents AND SBD being in pair with USD than STEEM at 12 cents without SBD stability. And I have almost no SBD. 99% of my assets here are in Steem Power.
