I'm replacing my old PC with a new one this week, for this reason I temporarily disabled my Witness as I had to remove the HDD from my 10 years old PC(the one I use to sign blocks) to install in the new one.

One of my colegues asked me if with a better PC I'm going to mine more blocks for my crypto wallets. had to explain him what is PoW, DPoS and why this have no influence in my capabilities in a DPoS environment as it relies on community support for signing blocks and not wasting several terawatts of energy to guess a number every 5 to 15 minutes.

Some Bitcoin fans might not like my hostile opinion towards their favorite crypto, but that's because they still compare Bitcoin to the previous fiat model and not with all improved versions of blockchain technology. Bitcoin has it's place as a pioneer in said technology, but it's time for we to retire it and replace with a better crypto, like Hive.
