Sucesos lamentables[Unfortunate events]

Desde tiempos remotos uno de los principales factores de la desaparición de seres humanos es el asesinato, estos crímenes han dejado marcados a muchas personas. Le quitan la vida a padres de familia dejando a muchos niños sin sus padres, el cual son la principal fuente de ingreso de sus familias.

Recuerdo que hace tres años acá en la zona donde vivo sucedido una tragedia. Cierto día por la noche un padre de familia llegando a su casa luego de una jornada de trabajo ; al llegar a casa pero para entrar se baja de su vehículo para abrir el portón y cuando eso sucede unos asaltantes lo sorprendieron y entonces lo secuestran a él y su familia.

Since ancient times one of the main factors in the disappearance of human beings is murder, these crimes have left many people scarred. They take the lives of parents, leaving many children without their parents, who are the main source of income for their families.
I remember three years ago here in the area where I live a tragedy happened.
One day at night a father of a family arriving home after a day's work; when he got home but to enter he got out of his vehicle to open the gate and when that happened some assailants surprised him and then kidnapped him and his family.

Al entrar en la casa ellos empiezan a pedir las cosas de valor y todo el dinero que tengan, el padre de familia protegiéndolos les dio todo lo que ellos les están pidiendo, pero parece ser que no era suficiente, querían mas. Ya habían pasado varias horas y los asaltantes todavía nada que se iban, el padre de familia les gritaba “que más quieren” pero ellos nada que le decían y eso angustiaba más a esta familia.

Al entrar en la casa ellos empiezan a pedir las cosas de valor y todo el dinero que tengan, el padre de familia protegiéndolos les dio todo lo que ellos se les están pidiendo, pero parece ser que no era suficiente, querían mas.
Several hours had already passed and the assailants still did not leave, the father of the family shouted "what more do you want" but they did not say anything and that distressed this family even more.

Pero sin darse cuenta el padre se les a encimado a estos asaltantes y empieza una fuerte riña y entre golpes y algunos disparos al aire sucede una tragedia ; cayó al suelo el cuerpo sin vida de este padre de familia y su hijo; al ver esto los asesinos huyen sin parar y dejando todo.

But without realizing it, the father had run into the assailants and a fierce fight started and between blows and some shots in the air a tragedy occurred; the lifeless body of the father and his son fell to the ground; when the assassins saw this, they fled without stopping and leaving everything behind.

Los asesinos fueron capturados todos y aún están pagando su delito, pero esta madre quedó destrozada y nos es para menos. Muchas veces me imagino como se sentirá esta madre al ver que cada mañana no está ni su hijo ni su esposo, sin duda es un dolor inexplicable nunca lo vamos comparar con alguno similar que nos pase ; ya han pasado tres años de este suceso y todavía parece mentira todo lo que sucedió esa tarde. Sólo deseo que esta madre pueda encontrar la paz mental que ella tanto necesita.

The murderers were all caught and are still paying for their crime, but this mother was devastated and it is not for less. Many times I imagine how this mother must feel when she sees that every morning neither her son nor her husband is here, without a doubt it is an inexplicable pain, we will never compare it to any similar pain that happens to us; it has been three years since this event and it still seems unbelievable everything that happened that afternoon. I only wish that this mother can find the peace of mind that she needs so much.

Reflexión: no somos héroes, es mejor quedarse quietos ; las cosas materiales se recuperan pero la vida no.

Reflection: we are not heroes, it is better to stay still; material things can be recovered but life cannot.
