Les cuento que hoy llego un cliente al taller con un Kia Rio por un ruido de rodamiento en la parte trasera del carro.
Today a customer came to the workshop with a Kia Rio because of a bearing noise in the rear of the car.
Así que empecé a desarmar para ver porque tenia ese ruido.
So I started to disassemble to see why it has that noise.
Les cuento que al desarmar encontré algo mal armado , la arandela de ajuste estaba en medio del rodamiento externo , y lo normal es que la arandela vaya por fuera del rodamiento para que la tuerca la pueda ajustar.
When I disassembled I found something wrongly assembled, the adjusting washer was in the middle of the external bearing, and the normal thing is that the washer goes outside the bearing so that the nut can adjust it.
Una ves ya teniendo todo el desarmado, empiezo a lavar bien para que no haya rastro de grasa vieja ni tierra, porque si queda sucio va a dañar los rodamientos nuevos.
Once everything is disassembled, I start to wash it well so that there is no trace of old grease or dirt, because if it is dirty it will damage the new bearings.
Ahora empiezo a armar los rodamientos nuevos y engrasarlo bien con grasa azul que es muy buena para los rodamientos.
Now I start to assemble the new bearings and grease them well with blue grease, which is very good for bearings.
Ya tenido el tambor armado con los rodamientos procedí a montarlo.
Once the drum was assembled with the bearings, I proceeded to assemble it.
Ahora procedí a ajustar los rodamientos, ah pero no pueden quedar muy ajustados porque se pueden dañar.
Now I proceeded to adjust the bearings, but they cannot be too tight because they can be damaged.
Para ajustar los rodamientos hay que apretar y luego desajustar la tuerca solo un poco, de esa manera no quedan apretados los rodamientos, y tampoco tan flojos.
To adjust the bearings it is necessary to tighten and then loosen the nut just a little so that the bearings are not too tight and not too loose.
Ya está listo los rodamientos y cero ruido, y el cliente satisfecho por el trabajo.
The bearings are ready and zero noise, and the customer is satisfied with the work.
