I've always been fascinated by digital art, the versatility is incredible and the imagination is limitless. My going into digital art is really not so surprising and it does feel like coming back full circle cos my first experience with art was graphic. I remember cutting out the pretty pictures I found in textbooks when I was a kid and posting them on the wall above my bed, that was the beginning of everything for me, even thinking about it now makes me want to take out my tablet and get to work immediately.

The goal of eventually learning how to draw digitally had been something I could only dream of but thanks to a turn in my luck, it became a reality, I got myself an iPad and got work. Learning to draw using an entirely new medium has not been easy, it’s not exactly learning from scratch, but there’s a whole new set of steps I need to learn and sometimes I wish I could download all the knowledge I need into my brain but I have realized that even that is part of the process and the lessons I learn along the way will help shape my style.

Below are the two images I’ve decided to upload to remind myself how much I’ve improved because it doesn’t feel like it sometimes, my first digital drawing I did two weeks ago, and the latest one I just completed a few minutes ago.
