I realized that I never actually posted this on here as a standalone after I finished it, probably because I felt it couldn't compete with previous works. I love the simplicity of this portrait so much, I might go for similar methods in the future. I said before that instead of fixating on the tiny details in my works, I would love to look at the bigger picture (easier said than done)
I made a huge mistake on this piece and almost gave up on it entirely, but I was already halfway through and I had to be creative with fixing it.
I used Charcoal and graphite on Strathmore paper.
