It's been a couple of weeks of windy, rainy, grey days here in souther Chile. Today, however, things changed drastically and Nature blessed us with many colors.
During my morning walk I witnessed this beautiful rainbow. You all know how hard it is to be accurate on a rainbow pic using a cell phone. Unfortunately this image doesn't do justice to the beauty of the moment, but hey, it's something.
Later, I visited my mother and helped out cutting some grass in the garden area. This year she has been low on time so she decided to just let the grass grow, so the soil can restore.
However, there are plenty of carrot plants that we're interested in letting flower so that we might have seeds, which is why I spent time cutting the grass around them.
But the carrots aren't the protagonists of the following image, rather the grass. There was a moment during the cutting in which I couldn't help being visually caressed by the colors before my eyes. The tones that went from the obvious green to pink, purple, and red, were just a pleasure to observe.
After that, I went to check on the strawberries and surprise, surprise! The first one of the season 馃槏 We split it in half and it was delicious.
I transplanted lettuces today and this was another visual treat as moist soil and radiant healthy plants always make me feel at home.
That's it for today, short blog! I'm working on a little something that I want to share but the daylight is gone and still not finished!
Have a good night 馃寵
