In his best selling "The shack" WM Paul Young portrayed the desire of God for man to let go of his cravings for Independence and autonomy and simply trust Him through relationship and intimacy. Most of the discussions that ensued between the main character in that novel (who had an encounter with the Trinity at the place of the shack) and each of the personalities of Godhead revolved around that simple theme.
It is clear from the preponderance of scriptures that life would be smoother and sweeter for mankind if only we could keep it simple by trusting and depending on God absolutely. It sounds so simple yet it appears so difficult for even an average believer to practise Al the time.
Man's problem started right in the Garden of Eden when he chose to be adventurous and stepped outside God's clear directive not to eat of the fruit of a particular tree.
Any man who chooses to ignore the leading of the Holy Spirit or his conscience will ultimately have lots of difficulties to contend with in life; however, if we learn to submit to God's will and follow the dictates of His word at all times, life will no doubt be glorious.
