"You are only human, after all," she laughed.
I laughed along with her, as I always did. These humans think they are so clever but they really are dumb. They spend most of their time discriminating against members of their own species but can't recognise an alien when it's standing right in front of them, just because it is wearing the same colour skin suit as them.
"Yeah," I said, wondering what this one would taste like. "You really are something special. I'm hungry. Do you want to leave this place?"
Her eyes sparkled and she touched her hair. I guess if I was human I might have taken that for some kind of mating signal. But, as it was, my stomach rumbled at the thought of crunching through her skull.
"Okay," she said, brightly. "Let me just freshen up."
I nodded and watched her go to the ladies room. A guy sitting on a stool at the end of the bar winked at me.
"Looks like you've scored big, my friend," he said.
I nodded.
"Yeah, she looks really tasty."
