"He's not really a conservative," Millie said, pointing at the politician on the screen, ranting about how things were rubbish and broken.

"What do you mean?" Mark asked. "He's literally leading the party called We Are Conservatives!"

Millie shrugged. "For me, it is clear. This guy just sees problems. He wants to break everything because he says its not working. But a true Conservative doesn't break stuff. They conserve stuff."

Jack laughed. "I don't know where you've been for the last few years. There isn't much left to conserve even if you wanted to. And to be clear, I don't see anything work keeping."

Millie shrugged and then fell silent as one of the Overseers came close, its antenna scanning their chips to check they were authorised to be in this section of town.

"Anyway," Mark whispered as the Overseer moved on. "It is dangerous to be talking about this kind of stuff."
