"Go on," Katie said. She smiled and I opened my mouth and she popped the small piece of papery stuff on my tongue. "Have a nice trip!" she said.

I smiled too. It was my first time on LSD and I have to say I was worried.

I liked to be in control.

Seeing, hearing and feeling things that weren't there frightened me. And what if I didn't come back. What if I got lost in whatever bizarre fantasy world my brain coughed up.

What if I went insane?

Katie was talking but I didn't hear what she was saying. I was lost in my own anxiety. I needed to chill. If I didn't, might I force myself to have a bad trip? I tried to listen to the music Katie had put on. It sounded like it was from the sixties but it could have been something made this year. I didn't keep up with what was going on.

"Give me your hands," Katie said. I did as I was told and stared into the beautiful green eyes in front of. "You are going to have fun," Katie said.

As usual I wrote the freewrite in five minutes using themostdangerouswritingapp.com and then copied and pasted it into a googledoc in order to tidy it up a bit.
