Big Buddha

^{One of the most famous tourist attractions of Hongkong is Tian Tan Buddha or also known as the Big Buddha located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island.}

^{Tian Tan is a large bronze statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, started to built in the year 1991 and completed in 1993, also hold the record of largest seated Buddha of the world. Opposite the statue, the Po Lin Monastery is one of Hong Kong's most important Buddhist sanctums.}

We went here using a private car, but if you commute just go to Tung Chung Station , you can take cable car or bus to get here. Riding cable car would be much exciting but it’s pricey !

You’ll never get lost because signage are everywhere, and don’t worry it’s in english! 😁

And so we started to walk ourselves to the Big Buddha. There’s a lot of things that you can see in the street like souvenir shops , for sale paintings, and food but this wishing tree caught my attention.

I did wished and prayed for my desires, hoping that Buddha will grant it. 🤞🏼

It took 268 steps to climb for a closer look at this remarkable statue.

Half way with my brother. It was tiring . Don’t forget to bring your water to be kept hydrated and also umbrella if you like.

At the top was a view of sweeping mountain that can be seen from its base.

And we made it to the Top ❤️

They said that if you made it to Tian Tan Buddha al your wished and things that you prayed will be given to you ❤️
