Hello guys good day all.
Being different is never easy, getting to say "no",knowing your stands and things that feels wrong and right to you, it's just one hard thing that I fought for. In my childhood days I was surrounded with people, not just any kind of people, but people who shape me into who I want to be.
Growing up, I become friends with good people and also bad people. Building myself around this people taught me lessons I can't forget in a hurry and also shaped my way of thinking.
I get to know what's good and bad and I try by all means to do the things that are good, but in some ways it feels impossible. It's not impossible because I chose it so, it's impossible because I sometimes can't resist them and after doing it, comes regret.
I grew up with my mom, and that was the best thing that ever happened to me, because she groomed me, in a way I never expected and with her help, I was able to fight some of the challenges I faced as a child.
I grew up in a place where many kids won't wish to visit, the place was really rough. I see many of my age-grades who lived there go into drugs and the rest. But am glad am out of that area for good.
My parents are Christians and my believe in Christianity also helps me a lot. It gave me an insight of what the world will be if I do this things or that things. And also gave me a path to follow.
My life as a Christian plays a good role in developing my moral life. I became conscious of everything anything around me, I began to study the lifestyle of others and see if my beliefs was right or wrong.
One of the many thing, I leant as a growing child is that "*** the people you surround yourself with determines the person you become***". Aside from my beliefs, I also had elders who I talk with and ask questions. At first it was as though they will regret me, but they didn't, instead they teach me in a similar way I have learnt.
They contribute and also made my beliefs in Christianity stronger that ever, because everything they say and taught was just exactly as I was taught, but it's was in a different way and a different style.
I don't actually have a particular path that shapes me.
I believe that if it feels right, it's worth doing. My Christian life shapes me and tells me how the world looks like.
To me,Freedom is doing something that feels right to you and to others, when your heart and others around you are happy because of what you're doing, that is freedom.
To me, the best freedom is the freedom of the heart, when my heart is free, my body will also be.
Thank you for reading.
