I find it kind of cool that no one moral compass points the same direction.
Ever stare at a balcony and wonder what it would feel like to jump?
In an instant to be nothing. but to have had a moment of free fall and release?
NOT that you want to jump, just that you thought of it.
Like a child pushing the boundaries and buttons of your parents to figure out how far you can stretch their patience.
We do this to those we love, like, and even not care for.
We all have a violence that we do to ourselves, by not eating correctly, staying up too late..
Constantly off balance concerning some aspect of who we are..
They say that there is always room for improvement.. this is true.. But to find it we always have to find something we are unhappy with, something that is not good enough.
We look at a child that is pure sweet and innocent thinking that the world will come to get it too, but you feel protective of them , knowing that darkness will bite them at some point.
We learn the hard way we take knocks.
Ever get scolded for climbing up something or doing something you shouldn't have.. but then your parents just give up and , end up saying something along the lines of ' if you don't want to listen you will have to feel'?
You have to receive some hurt to learn...
Who ever said that darkness is bad thing..
Who said that being perfect is a good thing? As if that's attainable anyway?
We all feel what we feel, and its not always going to be good feelings, we might not always do good things , or be what is expected of us.. but we are the light, we are the dark, we are all of shades in between.
I see the light in you.. But your darkness doesn't scare me either.
You are who you are.
You may be the black sheep, or Mary's Little Lamb..
Just be. You.
Until Next Time...
