Often, because I over think, and that it has been proven that 75% of choices that people make are based on emotions, I think that as a people we feel so much, much more than we care to fathom, or realize even when we try.
Even listen to someone that always complains, as if they always have a worse story than yours? and feel drained by the negativity and your body reacts by becoming tired?
That anger literally feels like our blood has gotten hotter, so that when we use words we "spit fire"?
When one is sad, or isolated we feel cold?
What we feel affects us on a physiological level.
Back to the roller coaster.. so while we on the ride of our lives.. we go through dips and turns, screaming for joy and/or fear, our hands holding on or get a grip or raising in the air to feel free, climbing the slope,Clickty,Clickty,Clickty, only to slide right down again and then still to have it repeat?
We sometimes see the track ahead, and yet we cant stop as the ride is not over,
Our eyes catches glimpse or the things around us, but we are moving so fast are cant stay focused on one thing, and then Pshhhht! the coaster pulls breaks and we smile as we gain a sense of control again..
Our emotions also seem to be on the tracks as we feel the push and pull, and twists and turns of life, sometimes we experience new things, and cant identify the emotion, sometimes we are all too familiar with the emotion. Then we are times to let go, and let the chips fall, or when we hold on too tightly because of our fears.
What you felt on your roller coaster , might not have been felt by the person sitting next to you, maybe you even felt like you were just taken for a ride.
We are indeed a range of many emotions all at once, maybe longing to feel new ones, or struggling to identify them, maybe we are the on the free fall with our hands in the air, smiling at the excitement that is life for what it is in all of its glory...
Maybe Rowan was on to something... Dont you think so?
