For the past two weeks I believe I had posted work that took a lot out of me, it was questions I asked myself aloud, being grateful, lessons learnt and to me knowing something does not mean that I have learnt from it..
I have discovered so much about myself and I'm sure that it will not be the last time, however when change does happen within Me, I try to be self aware to deal with feelings and process my thoughts.
This transition does not happen over night.
Sharing all of it on Steemit is a great outlet but I have found that it is also emotionally draining for one reason : the new things I have come across and learnt and shared.. are now apart of me and because it's new it does not feel natural, yet. Giving off this energy taked alot and even more to maintain as part of it feels like me and some of it feels like an act.
I did not like the idea for me being insincere to the people reading my work. Especially since I wrote about time and how it's something we can't get back...
I deal with over thinking and anxiety the way an addict does I suppose. It's a place I find myself often.. as means of testing my own limits and figuring out who I am. To myself, to others and in the bigger scheme of life.
Every now and then I take time out. But I shall always return...
I truly appreciate that people read my work and find something within it that they identify with.
I am grateful that even people from the other side of world in different seasons, different colours, and other walks of life , finds common ground with someone like me.
Thank you for that!
Until next time...
