The trouble with lightpainting at this time of year in my part of the world is having to wait until some unsociable hour in the middle of the night to start waving lights around. This is a collection of shots where I grew impatient and shot anyways....
The Concrete Jetty on the Lake:
Coldstone Cut in North Yorkshire:
There's a stone in my shoe; stood on Stanage Edge this evening hoping someone would conveniently pose for my shot then this couple climbed up and even more conveniently there was something lodged in the lady's shoe. Literally straight out of camera apart from the dust removal on my sensor....
And finally, from an evening up on a very cold Stanage Edge in the Peak District, I managed to persuade this unsuspecting friendly photographer to pose in exactly the right spot to create the sense of scale and give the shot a human element. Thanks friend whoever you are!
About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.
