Wool festival

What is that madam @mariannewest, today I saw your Actifit report card of August 25, 2022, in which you are getting the wool washed, even before seeing your attachment and association with wool always reminds me of my mother? My mother was also very fond of wool.

As long as my mother was alive, every year along with all the members of the family used to weave some sweaters, mufflers, caps, gloves, socks etc. for one or the other neighbour.

She had a book in which there were many patterns of weaving, only she could understand these patterns. In that, the account of the straight loops had to be kept, and then the account of their colours had to be kept. Some new-age neighbours also came to learn the nuances of weaving from my mother.

The months of the year from October to February used to be like the wool festival at our house, in our country it is very cold in these months. But now gradually the trend of hand-made sweaters etc. is becoming very less among the new generation of people.
Now everyone likes readymade goods, yet many traditional people are still lovers of woollen things.

In our city, some hill women organize fairs for their handmade wool items in the months of December and January and are sold a lot.
