My post for Day 1771: 5 Minute Freewrite: - Sunday Prompt: piles of books hosted by honourable madam

It was my very first day at a big university job.
Last week out of 25 participants, I was selected and appointed as the Assistant Librarian of this University.
I was told in the interview itself that I have to follow the instructions given by the chief librarian in handling the millions of books in this library.
I reached the library and went there and presented my first contribution information to the Chief Librarian, she turned out to be a middle-aged woman.
She only nodded my greeting and looked at me with her spectacled eyes as if someone were looking at an insect through a microscope.
From this action of her, I understood that now I am going to face a crazy woman every day.
Within the next few minutes, she ordered me to go, there is a pile of books in the inner room and made a list of them by putting them in different piles according to the name.
I reached the inner room to obey her orders and saw that the room of 20 by 40 feet was stacked with millions of books on the ground.
I was surprised to see so many piles of books, but because I was hired for this job, I immediately started doing my work.

And after taking a cloth, and wiping those books thoroughly, started making a name-wise list of them and started making different piles of them.
By the evening of the same day, I had sorted and separated about 400 books.
In the evening my chief librarian came into this room, and after seeing my work, she praised me, then I realized that she was not such a bad woman as I had felt bad in the first meeting.
