The arrival of the monsoon brought a wave of happiness to the residents of my country and my city.
The weather was very hot for the last few days. The temperature was around 44 degrees.
Normal life was scorched due to the heat. It was becoming very difficult to go out during the day.
On the 18th, it rained pre-monsoon and people jumped with happiness. Showering water throughout the day, trees and plants, human beings became happy that time.
There was a drop of 15 degrees in the temperature and it reached around 29-30 degrees. But in some places, the rain wreaked havoc.
The water level of the rivers went above the danger mark, floods broke out in villages and cities, life got disturbed, houses were washed away, roads were flooded, transportation and supplies were interrupted.
The food items in people's homes got spoiled. There was no place to sleep. Many vehicles of passers-by got stuck on the roads. Many civilians died due to drowning in the water.
There is a possibility of more rain this year, which will not be good. There is a possibility of causing a lot of damage to the crops, government, and private properties of the farmers.
Due to the loss of crops, the general public will also have to face inflation. The administration of the cities has started cleaning the rivers, streams, canals, drains, and sewers so that the water does not collect in one place.
In this way, in my opinion, preparations made before the onset of the monsoon will be useful and more damage can be minimized.
