He was in bad condition because of the cold. He had nothing left to spend and he was also suffering from hunger. His destination was still miles away.
Seeing a pond of water, he stopped and after taking a sip of the water of the pond he took a sigh of relief. He filled a bottle of water from the same pond, thinking that he did not know whether there would be water on the way ahead.
It is about the time when roads were not built, there were no vehicles. Only a few people used to travel in bullock carts or palanquins.
The rest of the common people used to walk from one place to another. He had married his daughter in a village about 90 miles away.
Yesterday, news came to him that her daughter's husband had been killed by some wild animal several days back.
Hearing this news, the father's heart fell madly in love with the daughter and in the desire to meet her, he took everything he had and went towards his daughter's house.
Even after travelling for 2 days, he had not reached the halfway point. He had run out of courage. Then he saw that some fire was burning at some distance and there was a feeling of some men around the fire.
The old man thought that whatever happens, the people will definitely help him. With great effort and strength, he reached there quickly.
He saw that 4-5 people are sitting by the fire and eating food. They all were also shocked to see the old man alone in the forest. What was the lone man doing in such a dense forest?
They were all hunters and used to ambush wild animals and capture them and earn money by selling them in the market.
He asked the old man who he was and where he was going. The old man told them all his words, hearing which they felt very pity and they gave him some part of their food and said, "Sit here, warm the body with the heat of the fire.
After some time we will go to that side. And you Come with us too." We will help you. The old man felt as if he had gotten God's help.
Travelling with them the next day, he reached his destination, and he thanked all of them and the GOD.
