Describe what you see:: At a distant place, a very old lady is waiting for someone.
Describe what your feel::There is a feeling of unbearable pain in the eyes of this old lady.
Zordan was just 7 years old when his father was an army soldier and was serving in the infantry of Northern Command.
His father used to get leave from the army once a year or sometimes only once every two years.
And whenever he comes to his house, bring some gifts for all the members of the family.
Zordan was the only son of this family and he was loved by all of the family members very much.
He and his family used to jump with joy when he received his father's letter or message that he was coming home on leave.
Zordan's grandmother was about 90 years old, but she still had the agility of a young woman. She still did all her household work herself.
She has great affection for Zordan's father, who was her third son. The other two sons were killed in an accident when they were going to their duty.
Zordan’s grandmother fondly calls Zordan's father "Raudy," while his real name is Ronald.
This time Zordan's father came home about a year ago. Since then, relations with the neighbouring country deteriorated and there was a possibility of a full war at anytime.
After declaring war Zordan's father was stationed at A Hill Check post. His military contingent had to monitor the activities of the enemy country from the hill post and also take action against them if necessary.
The temperature of the place where he was posted was minus 10 degrees. It was very difficult to live there. In addition to Ronald, there were 7 soldiers on the post; one was his commander.
A total of eight soldiers had to keep an eye on the enemy and also make their own arrangements just food preparation etc. .
Due to posting in most of the hot places, they had no experience of doing duty in such a cold and difficult place, yet due to being soldiers, all of them were doing their duty.
Before the fight could take place, Ronald had applied for leave to the head of his unit, which was approved, and he had hoped that he would be able to visit his family any day, so he decided to go on leave.
The news of his arrival and the news of his coming home were given to his family. But then an emergency was declared and everyone's leave was cancelled.
Zordan's grandmother and Zordan were both waiting for Ronald to come, but they did not know that he would not be able to come due to the fight.
Because Zordan was a child, he got busy with his sport. But Ronald's mother, who had already lost her two sons in the accident, had some sense that her son Ronald was stuck in some important military work and might not come on leave this time.
Then one day, suddenly, there was news that the enemy attacked Ronald's army and none of the soldiers of that detachment survived.
When Ronald's mother came to know about this, she was shocked and become like a stone and kept looking at the road through which her son “Raudy” used to return home every time.
This is my story .
