Given or received nicknames
Do you have a nickname or pet name given to you by someone else? What is it and why were you given it? Or, have you given someone else a nickname that stuck? What is it and how did they earn it?

At times if I sit down and reason the type of nikenames people call themselves I feel sorry for them because most of them don't even know the meaning of the names they bear and they are very happy answering the name how can some be answering a nikename that the meaning is death, dangerous, notorious,Lucifer, die hard, I feel sorry for such people.

Yes, I have a nickname that was given to me by someone special to me. Each time I am called by the name, it gives me joy. It makes me recall how I got the name. It's somehow funny because of the way I got the name.

What is it and why were you given it?

"Famous" is the name. It was given to me by my girlfriend on the day I took her for an outing. due to the way people were calling me that day. Every place we enter, someone must call me. It got to a spot where she was just looking at me till I got confused and I had to ask her what was wrong. She smiled and called me. "I hail you everywhere we enter." They must call you. That was how I got my nickname.

According to her, she said I am a celebrity. That's why she gave me the nickname, "famous," because I am well known by many people. As I speak now, everywhere I enter they call me by the name "famous", and I have been like, "that's not my name," that they should call me by my real name," but they insist on calling me famous. I don't have any option but to accept it.
I keep on understanding that the more you help others, that is the way you keep on growing without problems around you.

If I was that troublesome, I wouldn't have been known by those people, and she wouldn't have given me the nickname.

"Famous is a good nickname. It has even gotten to the extent that even my pastor does call me famous. My parents also call me Famous.
