Daaron looked at the girl again, his gaze penetrated her soul. The elf's knees trembled treacherously. But she wasn’t going to take her eyes off him. The moment seemed magical to the girl. She wanted to look at him for eternity and let him burn herself with a look. The young man smiled a little, as if he saw the thoughts of an elf. And leaned forward.
Hot lips touched girl’s lips.
The magic flared up in her with a hundredfold Desolace Fire. Hands themselves wrapped around the neck of the magician. His hands took her by the waist and pressed her to him. They seemed to be completely enveloped in fire. Blue fire. Perfect and so dangerous. Deadly. The kiss made the girl completely forget herself, plunge into feelings and a tear appeared on her cheek. The young mage recoiled slightly, feeling the salty taste on her lips.
"Sorry, I shouldn’t," the mage said quietly.
"No, I just... I'm really afraid of losing someone. I'm scared. I have to kill the living people, the soldiers of the North. Can I cope with it? Honestly, I don’t know."
Tears flowed down her cheeks, the girl lowered her head and buried her forehead in the boy's chest. He stroked her hair. In it the girl felt something extraordinary. He wasn’t like usual people. Strange, closed, but so necessary. Necessary to maintain this flame inside her. Without it, it will go out. This is why is she so drawn to this unsociable person.
"Tomorrow will leave the training camp."
"Tomorrow?" The girl looked up in a surprise. "But they said in four days. Why do you think so?"
"Believe me, this celebration was organized today, for a reason. Tomorrow we will travel to Tolactat. The north has already captured the fifth city, our army is defeated.
The girl couldn’t utter a word. Such unexpected news brought her into a stupor. Nobody said anything to the soldiers. How does he know? Why so sure? Is he somehow connected with the Military Council of the camp?
Only the girl was going to ask how the magician, he kissed her again. A short, hot kiss. The body of the elf was burning. After that, he again looked at her with his burning eyes. She didn’t want to break away from him.
"You'd better get some sleep today," the magician smiled.
And the girl fell into a dream.
