The first day in the camp was pretty much unsuccessful for Siala. Not only did she burn the sleeve of the magister, but also everything that she tried to teach was a total failure. The water didn’t listen to her, splashing all around her. She was generally afraid to experiment with lightning after the incident with Boris.
It was easier with the fire, she loved it since childhood. It helped not to freeze during the cold season. It helped to survive. Of course she understood that it was dangerous. But one way or another, it was easier to create it with every time. Only how this small fire will help in the war?
When she once again set fire to what wasn’t needed, the dark-haired magician who watched at this murmured ridiculously. In the girl's head something changed.
"Once you are so experienced, you can better teach me, not just stand there and watch and mockingly laugh?!" she cried out to him.
Eyebrows of the mage rose in astonishment. No one didn’t talk to him for a long time. To put it more precisely, no one spoke to him for a long time, and even more in such a dazzling tone.
"And what can I teach you?" he asked in a stern way, squinting his eyes.
"How do I aim my magic on the target? I cannot understand why not the right objects catch my fire?"
"You didn’t start your practice correctly. Your friend seemed to tell you - to send energy through your hand. And you are persistently trying to do everything with a glance. But the focus is that the look, even once you try to look at one point still dissipates. The hand would be easier."
"But I cannot do this..." said the girl softly.
However, the pal heard and walked to her, entering the internal protective barrier put by some of the mentors. Looking carefully at the girl with her piercing eyes, he lowered his gaze to the elf's breast. Siala was embarrassed, but she didn’t show it.
"Your main energy is concentrated in the chest area, it is very beneficial. From there, it's easier to direct energy in your hand than, from a head or abdomen. Just close your eyes and imagine something nice in the chest area. Imagine a stream of force in the form of what you like more."
The girl obediently closed her eyes and imagined that in her chest now fiercely pulsates not the heart, but the flow of fire. Blue fire such as she saw in the hands of a black-eyed magician.
"Pull out your hand in front of you and imagine how this flow goes into it. Slowly, evenly, not in the hurry. "
The fire fluttered along her hand, hot, pulsating, but obedient, like a living lava.
"Collect part of this energy in your palm without breaking the flow. Don’t rush, concentrate, the stream shouldn’t be disturbed. When you collect a small part, open your eyes and imagine how the flow comes out of your palm and is transferred to the object you need.
The girl felt her palm touch the palm of the mage. Why? After all, she collects energy there. The heart sank faster, the stream crazily spread all over the body. The flash broke out from the palm, the girl only managed to open her eyes and see how the magician keeps her magic in his hand. Black eyes burned her through.
"I told you to release the energy only when you aim."
"I didn’t manage to do this... Sorry."
The magician squeezed the flame in his hand and it was gone, without causing him any harm.
"Why have you touched my palm?"
"It's easier to concentrate, when not only you imagine, but also feel the point of energy collection. Starting mages often hold something in their hand. I wanted to remove my hand as soon as you open your eyes."
"I'm just a little frightened that I would hurt you with fire..."
"And so you released a flaming explosion to me, very logical."
"It exploded? But I didn’t feel anything."
"I managed to put an external barrier," the black-eyed smiled a little and squinted his eyes again. "Can you say your name?"
"Siala."
"Daaron."
The girl dropped her eyes and looked at her palm. The fire magic really was close to her nature. She was imagining a blue fire.
